By accessing or using the Online Language School - OLS Sri Lanka website, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.

Use of the Website

• You must be at least 16 years old to use our website or make purchases.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and checkout.
• You may not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

Orders and Payments

• Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for various reasons, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
• You must provide valid and current payment information and authorize us to charge the total order amount, including taxes and shipping fees, to your chosen payment method.

 Returns and Refunds

• OLS Lanka strives to provide students with a high-quality online language learning experience. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a student requires a refund.
• Students are eligible for a full refund of the course fee within 7 days of their registration date, provided they haven’t accessed any course materials or attended any live sessions.
• To request a refund, students must submit a written request to our official email address info@olslanka.com within the eligible timeframe specified above.
• All refund requests must include the student’s full name, registered email address, course name, and a clear explanation for the request. Supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificates) may be required for special cases.
• We aim to process all valid refund requests within 10 business days of receipt.
• Please note that processing times may vary depending on your chosen payment method and potential intermediary bank delays.

Access to Live Sessions and Recordings

There are two types of recordings available on our website: recorded lessons and class recordings. Recorded lessons refer to lessons recorded by the teacher and provided to students later. Class recordings refer to live classes that are recorded and provided to students later.

1. 1. Importance of Live Participation

Active participation in live sessions remains the most effective way to learn and achieve course objectives. Live sessions facilitate interaction with instructors, real-time Q&A, and discussions crucial for a comprehensive learning experience.

1. 2. Recordings as a Supplement

We recognize the value of recordings of live classes as a supplemental learning resource. However, to encourage active participation, access to recordings is limited.

1. 3. Limited Access with Request Option

During the course duration, users can request access to class recordings through the platform. A maximum of one (1) class recording access per month (one class recording for four class days) will be granted per course, per user.

1. 4. Special Access for Emergencies

 We understand unforeseen circumstances arise. If a user experiences a serious emergency that prevents live session attendance, they can request additional recording access by providing documented proof. Special access requests will be reviewed by authorized personnel on a case-by-case basis.

1. 5. Password-Protected Recordings

 To enhance security and prevent unauthorized access, each class recording will be password-protected. Users will receive unique passwords upon approved access requests.

1. 6. View Count Limit

 Recorded lessons and class recordings are limited to five views. Students can watch each recording and lesson up to five times. They can request more view times in case of special situations.

1. 7. Download and Screen Recording Prohibition

 Our LMS platform does not allow downloading or screen recording of any content, including recordings. This measure protects intellectual property and prevents unauthorized sharing.

1. 8. Enforcement

 Sharing access credentials, passwords, recordings, or any other course materials with unauthorized users is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms and Conditions. Online Language School – OLS Lanka reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of a violation, including account suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, are protected by intellectual property rights and are the property of Online Language School - OLS Sri Lanka or its licensors.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from our website without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Online Language School - OLS Sri Lanka shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website.

Amendments and Termination

*We reserve the right to modify, update, or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
